Romanée Conti

Le Domaine de la Romanée Conti stands as one of the oldest vineyards in the world. First cropping up in the annals of time around 1131 under the appellation Cros des Clous. Today, Romanée Conti is the rockstar of wines, reigning as the pinnacle of vinicultural desire, coveted by the many but tasted by very few. With its small production of around six thousand bottles per year, Romanee Conti has always been coveted by nobility and kings of all surrounding provinces, for its remarquable wine. This exotic nectar, born in the Côtes de Nuits region in northern Burgundy, and once said to have healing properties, is one of the most intricate and complex tasting experiences one can hope to enjoy in a lifetime. Its world wide reputation of excellence combined with its rarity has made Romanee Conti one of the world’s most sought after wines, at the same time as it has always been a model and an inspiration for its peers in Burgundy. No other single wine, has been able to durably come close to Romanee Conti in perfection.
